I never know how to write these journals properly. I always feel like an idiot as I'm writing them. I'm not sure if anyone actually reads them, seeing as I've been gone for so long now.

I haven't been writing or on photoshop,  and I'm really not sure why. Part of me wants to attribute it to change and finding new interests, but this terrifies me. Writing used to be such a huge part of me, but now, I don't even know where I left my notebook last.

I've thought about deactivating the account, but I've been on here for about five and half years. It has a lot of memories. The community was here when I left home, when I started university, and when I drifted apart from my friends. I used to be so lonely and unhappy, but I like to think I'm stronger now. My collection of writing seems to show that. So, the account stays... for now.

I've gotten through a lot this year. A heavy course load and learning about myself. I've applied to the Faculty of Education, but I don't hear back until later this summer. It's the best Education program in the country, and it's competitive to get in, so fingers crossed.

Even so, I do miss writing and photoshop. I miss the dA community. I miss all the people on here who have never let me down with their support.

I guess, I just wanted to say, to those who are wondering, that I'm fine. I'm in a good place right now. I miss you all, but if you don't see me on here as much anymore, I guess it means that I'm doing better than I was a couple years ago.
